Marissa Campbell

About Me

I'm Marissa aka your pan, poly/enm, emo, body positive therapist. I love working with clients towards healing themselves while also acknowledging the effects of environmental & systemic factors that influence their lives. Over my years of experience I have formed primary clinical focuses in trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+, ethical non-monogamy, kink, relationships, etc. I also love working with other elder emo/alternative people to process the collective trauma we endured as part of a music- and internet-based culture that promoted mental health awareness while perpetuating trauma.

I take a very compassionate, relational, and person-centered approach. We are both human and are connecting as humans. Some of the best trauma healing happens within developing a safe space where we can share, relate, and co-regulate. I am an eclectic therapist who combines multiple modalities to allow you to lead treatment and be met where you are.

One way I am growing as a therapist is that I'm training in EMDR and will be including these techniques into my sessions in addition to my other multi-modal approaches. I always strive to be authentic as a human, but especially as a therapist. If you think we would be a good fit, I would love to do a free consult and see how we vibe. Reach out! I'm here.
